During the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in Costa Rica displayed varied performance metrics. Here are the highlights:

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a consistent trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 1.9K at the end of June and gradually declining to approximately 1.4K by the end of September. Despite the slight decrease in downloads, weekly active users remained relatively steady, ranging from about 105K to 107K throughout the quarter.

Google Maps demonstrated a stable performance in weekly downloads, fluctuating between 1.4K and 1.6K. Active users showed a slight upward trend, increasing from around 137K at the end of June to nearly 145K by the end of September.

Google Earth experienced modest weekly download numbers, which started at 413 and decreased to 363 by the end of the quarter. The app's weekly active users also showed a slight fluctuation, ranging from 2.7K to 3.1K during the same period.

Circuit Route Planner had relatively low weekly downloads, beginning at 61 and ending at 59. Active users, however, saw a gradual increase from 73 to 125 over the quarter. The app also recorded some revenue, peaking at $31 in mid-July and $22 in mid-September.

GPS & Maps: Location Tracker showed a varied trend in weekly downloads, with a peak of 82 at the end of August. The app's active users remained stable, hovering around 550 throughout the quarter. It also generated some revenue, with peaks of $13 in mid-July and early September.
